Disappointed traveler

In Jacksonville Florida, at around 6:50 pm, on 2/8/17, while traveling on business, I was going through the security checkpoint when I witnessed a Mesa Airlines employee giving The TSA a very hard time. He started shouting loudly and claiming he should not have been screened because he worked for the government and for Mesa Airlines. He started shoving his badge in the TSA screeners face. As a customer I was appalled. The TSA were only doing their jobs to keep us safe. I could not believe that an airline that I use would treat anyone with such disrespect. This employee brought discredit on your airline. I wasn't the only person to witness his hideous behavior. This is very disappointing, if Mesa employees treat the TSA workers this way, then he would treat the Mesa passengers with the same disrespect.Anonymous

Hello ... Just because the person stated that he worked for Mesa Airlines doesn't mean he really does. He could have been someone trying to impersonate an employee to skip screening at TSA. I say this because you said the person said he works for the government too. Mesa Employees don't have time to work two jobs. This seems very suspicious. Please don't judge Mesa Airlines by one person saying they work for Mesa. Please keep your eyes open for any suspicious behavior from individuals when traveling. They may say they are an employee but really aren't. Thank You.
