DITTO!!!!! I have been through the same mess. There customer service reps are unprofessional, and the communication is horrible. The website says it's simple as filing a claim, and they send a repairman. Then what??? Why is there no steps beyond that?? Who pays who?? When? And no representative can give you an answer on the next steps. It's like pulling teeth and you spend hours on the phone and days to get nowhere. Horrible company!

Same thing here, with the AC. This started in April! I'm in Louisiana and not use to the humidity. I moved here last summer and bought the house in October. The AC has not been working since I first started using it. The Repair company has been out here 5 documented times, and 3 undocumented. Enough is enough!
They replaced the dishwasher with no problem, the washer needed a part, and they were ordered. Not sure what the deal is with the AC.Anonymous

I have been having the same issues with my washer. I had a repairman come out and said I need a new washer. This was June 6th. They have been telling me the check is in the mail. It was also a nightmare with my dryer, but after 4 weeks I got that fixed. Sign me up for the class-action suit.Anonymous

OMG, me too! They are ridiculous and their customer service is overseas and unable to carry on an intelligent conversation, they can only recite what they read from their monitors! The contractor was in and out in 20 minutes and didn't even do a dye test but diagnosed and determined the problem... Not protocol from what I understand from other AC companies NOT affiliated with AHS! My son recorded a call with a rep in the Philippines and you could here a rooster crowing!! He asked them and they would not reply! WTH?!Anonymous

I agree with you. The hold time is crazy put in number for call back and don't get one. They have on file that I have two work orders for plumbing but only sent one out. They told me that I would need to make another request and pay another $100.Anonymous

I am there with you! I filed a claim and paid my fee the end of June and still have no AC as of Aug 6th in TEXAS. I have called them everyday and stayed on hold for anywhere from 1-3 hours and keep getting the run around about high call volume in the purchasing and parts departments.
This is so frustrating and you can't even file a claim because of the Arbitrary clause in the contract.Anonymous

After reading all of the above comments regarding the AC Unit, I have experienced it all. I'm so disgusted by the process that I called another HVAC company to come out to look at my unit. My initial call that the AC stopped working was on July 13. Today I got a non-coverage amount of $2954 to pay to the hvac company to replace the condenser and evap coil. When I asked for the cash-out I was told they would get back to me today. Never received that call so I called back just to be told the cash out department is backlogged and it would probably take WEEKS to get the amount. WEEKS!!! That's unacceptable when it's been 3 weeks with no air condition for my tenants during the 90 - 100+ heat wave!. Count me in on that small claims legal action. This is a pathetic company that needs the BBB to crack down on them.Anonymous

I saw on another comment that someone was told the Cash-Out amount and that if they sent in receipts they would get reimbursed and it never happened. Be careful of paying out of pocket and expecting to get reimbursed. I was told 10days ago they would reimburse me my service call fee of $100 for the inconvenience and haven't received it yet.

Cut long story short I paid and replace water heater from my pocket and chose Cash-out option for reimbursement. Its 4th week now and never heard any response or processing from them yet. Hours of calling and long wait is another story for chasing them.

OMG you sound EXACTLY like me! i said the same thing! im taking this to small claims court! I filed a service request for my A/C TWO MONTHS AGO AND HAVE NOT YET GOTTEN IT FIXED! They sent Mike with decker heat and air over to fix but kept telling him to put freon in it because they didnt want to pay for a new unit! This is the WORST place to get home warranty from by far! TAKE THEM TO COURT BECAUSE I AM ! And im requesting for a refund tomorrow! They are so inconsiderate and money hungry!

Amen Folks! I have had clothes washing machine issue since June, their automated system discourages callers by saying "Your estimated wait time is greater than 3hrs" even if you wait for 3 hrs still nobody comes on line. They are crooks! they have man power to send payment notices but not to deal with our problems! they should be taken to court! they are using COVID-19 as an excuse NOT to provide service. I am have the same problems regarding my AC waiting on to replacements parts. I hate Sears went out of business, they were reliable and trustworthy.

Count me in a Class Action Law suit. I have been trying to get my wall oven replaced since mid July and I cannot get anyone to clarify when I will get an oven or if I will get an oven. If I ever get anyone on the phone it is always the wrong dept. and then I am put on hold and no one picks up. I have been told they have sent me an email on 2 separate occasions letting me know what they will do but I have never received any email. It is strange I can get emails when they are going to send a tech but not to explain what they plan to do. This company is a scam.Anonymous

Same here!!! Except it was my refrigerator. They assigned 4 different contractors because they wanted a 2nd opinion. They didn't like the first guy's diagnosis or REPLACE it. They dragged it out for 9 weeks. 9 weeks without a refrigerator! They finally took the word of the 4 the Contractor and now they're supposedly sending me an E-card from Home Depot. Doubt I'll ever see it, but their always timely when it comes to billing my credit card!Anonymous
