Hey Trump
Shut down the post offices! That way, the mail in ballots won't arrive and he will win. There is more than one way to win. Screw you Democrats. Whatever it takes! The Donald ain't going nowhere!Anonymous

Nobody will shut down the Postal service you idiot. Your comments are infantile, just like you!I
Today you call yourself B, yesterday it was something else, as the days before. You don't know who you are do you? How about calling yourself Pathetic?Anonymous
I was in tears this morning after reading the news. You can mock and criticize me in your responses. I have a right to my feelings and opinions as the rest of you do.

Once again our President says that this virus is going away. It is not. And part of the reason is people like him who downplay the severity and make false claims.
My husband and I have four school age grandchildren. Of course they want to return to in person classes and we want that also. There is no real guidance as to reopening. Trump claims children are not a real risk for serious effects from covid-19. But if infected they are super spreaders, affecting teachers and those living in the homes they return to, including vulnerable grandparents and extended family and friends. In a Ga. Summer camp, 266 children and staff out of 344 tested positive. We have selfish politicians and citizens refusing to wear masks or adhere to even the simplest of task force guidelines. Now there will soon be a multi day motorcycle rally in Sturgis with maybe 250,000 attending. People attacking others , physically and verbally, in many states when asked to wear facial coverings. Many refuse even though it is a state mandate and law. Often officials say they trust their citizens to demonstrate " personal responsibility." But many do not act in a responsible manner.
We all want a thriving economy once again but that will not happen unless everyone works together to do all that is possible to curtail this deadly virus.
Please do your part and regardless of political preferences, do not buy into false claims that this virus will go away. It hadn't and it won't. I lost a dear friend and a cousin to this virus. Both in their '50's and with no underlying health issues.
Thanks for listening.Anonymous

I share your thoughts about the upcoming event in Sturgis, S.D.
If I understand correctly, South Dakota is one of only two states that does not have any type of mandate for facial masks, even on a local level. If it were only a one day event it would be cause for concern. But predictions are for maybe 250,000 to attend and it will last 9 or 10 days. Thousands from all over the country will be clustering in bars, restaurants and at related events. Even with outdoor gatherings if masks and social distancing are absent the virus can be spread.Anonymous

Give it a few days after this massive multi- day rally ends and we'll see the results of the reckless, selfish behavior by some of the attendees. Those who are already infected or may become infected will carry this virus home and to many other states. Then there will be whining and handwringing that some businesses will be forced to close once again.Anonymous
Humans take risks every time they walk out the front door of their home. It seems the person who authored the anonymous post has been locked up in the house watching the liberal media outlets way to long. The fear mongering and blaming the President has to stop. Covid19 has a 97.4 % recovery rate, some people want you to think that catching the virus is a death sentence, that's simply not true. People will die from this virus, the same way they do from the flu each year. Only this is a little worse, we are in human trials with several vaccines and hopefully will have several finished by early 2021. When it comes to schools, the parents decide if their children to back to school, nobody is forcing children back into the classrooms. Asking people to do their part? What do you think we've been doing? Telling people not to buy into false claims? Really? You better have a talk with your snowflakes out there. The only ones spreading false claims are the deranged individuals that call themselves Democrats. The person wrote we all want a thriving economy , oh really? I don't think so, Democrats want to keep this country locked down till Nov 4th, then all this fear mongering goes away, as long as Biden wins of course! Don't fall for the left's trickery and deceit, you'll wind up living in fear of everything and everyone. Practice good hygiene and use common sense and you'll be fine.

Must be nice living in your little bubble of denial and magical thinking. Referring to legitimate concerns as fear mongering is nonsense. Get a grip on reality instead of blaming and criticizing only Democrats.Anonymous

Sometimes it is good to vent - we all feel the need to express our frustration once in awhile.Anonymous
I haven't always agreed with President Trump . But then even though voting over the years for candidates from both parties I've never completely agreed with any one of them.

I do applaud him for stepping in with them executive order re Cares benefits, eviction notices and other issues. The stubborn members on both aisles of Congress act like children. No compromise even though they knew this was coming and have left citizens hanging about a resolution for over 2 weeks. In some areas the benefits ended on 7/25, not 7/31. They also had several months to plan ahead and be proactive on this issue.
So thanks, President Trump.Anonymous

It would be helpful if the Teachers Union concentrated more on teaching our youth as opposed to entering the political arena with their demands that have nothing to do with learning. Time to demand why our youth tests so low in the basics, especially Math. Schools have opened in other countries without the drama and out-of-line demands we see here.
