My family has had a long history of working with Earnhardt. My father bought a brand new vehicle there in 2015 with $28,000 down, the second brand new vehicle from Earnhardt. So in 2016 I went to buy my first new truck there also. I still have screenshots from 2016 of 2 different trucks I wanted to look at both in the high $30,000 after the $11,000 online discount. The first deal had the correct selling price but a very low ball trade-in and a ton of extras we already said we didn't want. At this point I want my car back because I have kids to pick up from school soon and no time to **** around with the sales men trying to rip me off. By the time they get me my car keys they also have a new deal, he shows me he removed all the additional items and with the $2000.00 cash down payment my existing auto loan would not be rolled into the new truck. We signed the papers and drive home just in time to pick the kids up from school. When I finished the after school rush I looked over all the paperwork and found they removed the online discount also and we paid window price for the truck. Still to this day I am $10,000 under water on my truck and am unable to get in to the truck I need now(a 2500 with 4x4). Later in 2016 my father passed away and in 2017 my mother went to Earnhardt to learn how to use my fathers vehicle. Instead of teaching her how to use it they sold her another NEW vehicle. They completely ripped my widowed mother off on the trade-in and is basically buying a brand new vehicle from scratch. My mother is now reaching retirement and looking for her last vehicle, she decided to give Earnhardt one more chance against my better wishes. She spent yesterday in their haggling with them about her trade in again. My mother had been to 2-3 other dealerships already and got trade in estimates, Earnhardt was $4000 below every other dealerships offer. They haggled her in the 100's until she left, when she made it the hour drive home someone finally called offering her a whole $2000 more still quite a bit short from other dealerships. Finally she has agreed that Earnhardt is now, all about the BULL, and try everything to BS you out of your hard earned money. The Earnhardt name will not be a place my family or friends purchase from again. 4 brand new vehicles my family has bought from Earnhardt in the past 5 years; yes New so we knew we where losing money buying new but expected to trade in with only a small loss when purchasing another new vehicle. Which would have been the case if they didnt write the singing deal at sticker price. I thought maybe a handwritten letter to Tex might help him see how far away his business has ran from where he started it, part of the Earnhardt family, and that ain't no bull. After trying to find an address to mail a letter and finding these reviews it appears they no longer care about their customers and a letter would be mute.Anonymous

They're car salesman, scrum of the earth, order from carvana. If you want to mess with the salesmans head I pull up to Earnhardt to go to the parts department to get something for my car and there's about three or four salesman that come running out there you can sit around there and talk to them and waste their time if you're not in a hurry but then say thanks a lot I got to go get my part
