DON'T TRUST INSURANCE
2 years, 18 weeks and 6 days
I was just notified by my insurance agent that Farmers notified the DMV and has it on record that on September 20, 2016 I was the driver of a collision accident; which is not true. The police report and all the other information that I have retained shows that my son was driving the car and the insurance was notified of this on both accidents that he had. Why is Farmers filing that I was a driver of a collision claim making my insurance rates higher than expected when I was not the driver of the car? I have been paying extreme premiums because your company can't seem to get anything done properly. They are reporting falsified information to the DMV. I would also request you to remove this under my name as well as reimburse me the difference of the last 3 years of higher costing premiums for an "accident" that I did not commit. If you are going to claim a person as a driver of a vehicle, make sure it is the actual driver who drove the car. I would like to know why your company has been doing this? How can you possibly do this knowing that your agents don't properly do their jobs and lie to get a "sale" for insurance. I can't believe this.Anonymous
Your insurance rates will go up because of the accidents of others on your policy too but if you send in a copy of the police report a customer service person can put a request into service operations to change the MVA info. Usually only take 2 days.
