    Never in my life (70years young) did I ever deal with such bad customer service and retun policies. I received a 32 inch tv for Christmas from my son. Since I was sick for the holiday, we did not set it up for 2 weeks. Once we did hook it up to my cable. It was obvious the tv was not working. Never thinking it would be a problem in a million years with what I thought was a reputable company I with my daughter brought the tv to best buy in manalapan nj. There we were told that since the box was opened , they could not take the tv back. I asked how would I know if the tv didn't work unless I opened the box. They then told me that without the receipt they couldn't take the TV back. Every store I go to can scan the product code to know when I bought the product and how much I paid . Not the great electronic store best buy.. I was told they didn't have the capabilities. So here I siit with a broken TV that I will need to find a way to return the TV to the manufacturer, which I have never had to do before with any store . My son has gone back with ther receipt for the TV.wher he bought it in long branch nj And he was told it was past the deadline for returns. I will make sure I contact the better business bureau, I will let people know about my experience on line , and needless to say all my senior citizen friends will be made aware of what I consider the worst policy ever for product returns. My daughter was in the process of buying an apple I pad , and with accesories , the value would have been over $ 1000. we chose not to deal with a store that has such poor customer policies. We will gladly take our business elsewhere this store gets less than 0stars. It gets minus5
