I am writing on behalf of my experience with Avondale Toyota Service Dept.
Last week my husband and I were in Avondale on Business and were stuck with a faulty battery in our new 4-Runner. We had stopped by the nearest Toyota Dealership, which was Avondale Toyota, and was told that our Battery was faulty and not wiring. This being said we were told that the bill would be 160ish, at that time we refused to pay and asked Avondale to call Precision Toyota whom we purchased the vehicle from. Precision confirmed to Marty (Avondale Service) that they sold the vehicle to us knowing the cell was bad and failed the testing. Marty asked to speak to a Manager and Juan (Precision Service) said there was no manager available. Marty then asked why was the car sold knowing the battery was faulty, which was my question as well, Juan stated he didn't know. Frustrated that we are stuck with paying the bill and have had many negative encounters with Precision and voices all the issues after buying 3 cars from Precision I let them know we will not be returning.
Shea from Avondale Toyota Service****Immediately saw that I was frustrated after the Manager hung the phone once I asked for him to speak with Shea concerning the battery charge. Shea then said take care of them to Marty and he did within no time the Avondale Service Team installed a new battery. I was amazed by this action of Shea Marty and the Service Team at Avondale that showed what customer service should be even though I did not buy the car at that dealership. I also let them know that we will definitely be purchasing our next vehicle from Avondale Toyota.
