    My name is Ana Amador.I'm writing in reference to my husband ose Amador and for whom I have his P.O.A. since he is totally mentally and physically disabled..He has been at So. Miami Hospital for over a month.He came in with a Urinary Tract Infection..He was alert,would recognize me and those who he is familiar with..two days later when I went to visit he was in a catatonic state..I told the nurse,she said she received him from another floor in that condition..He later had a lithotripsy and Cystoscopy-he almost died of complications that go from respiratory arrest,septic,low hemoglobin etc..after 8 days in ICU he was placed on a floor.. ON MONDAYTHE DOCTOR TOLD ME HE WAS READY FOR DISCHARGE..I told him he wasn't..that same night he almost had another respiratory arrest,got septic,had MRSA in the pic line etc....he got catatonic again and I told the doctor to call a neuro consult and he said no,they did an EEG that took over 10 days to be read...he was discharged,I place an appeal to Medicare,we lost,I placed a reconsideration we won,yesterday the doctor discharged him again..I TOLD THE SOCIAL WORKER i WANT A PULMONOLOGIST AND NEURO ON A SECOND OPINION AND THIS TIME i WANT TO TALK TO THEM..THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE..THE doctor kept prompting me to plae my husband in Hospice..I TOLD HIM WE HAD DISCUSSED IT FOR MY MOM AND WE ARE TOTALLY AGAINST IT.MORALLY,SPIRITUALLY AND ETHICALLY..yESTERDAY WE FOUND MY HUSBAND LOOKING WORSE THAN TRASH..BEDSORES,RASH BETWEEN HIS LEGS,DRY BLOOD IN HIS MOUTH AND RALES COMING FROM HIS RIGHT LUNG...MY HUSBAND IS BEEN DISCRIMINATED AGAINST DUE TO HIS OVERALL CONDITION..THEY DO NOT SEE A HUMAN BEING;JUST A DISCARD..i wrote a letter to the CEO LINCOLN MENDEZ WHO UP TO TODAY HAS NOT GOTTEN BACK TO ME..today i had a change to go on a radio station and tell 50-60,000 people what is happening with my husband at South Miami Hospital..I'm a medical personal for many years and I have been lied to,laughed at and the worse..totally ignored!!

    Beyond ANNOYED

    I have NEVER in 55 years dealt with such kindergarden level people in a Doctors office as I have dealt with @ your clinic Dr E Irby on Hinson Rd in Little Rock Ar. 9 out of 10 times I am forced to deal with the receptionist because she refuses to relay the message to the nurse. On many occasions her taking care of the issue only results in time wasted until I become fed up & become rude before getting nurse so she can deal with issue.RECEPTIONIST SHOULD NOT INTERCEPT CALLS IN THIS MANNER. As caregiver I don't have the time to waste any more than the nurse does I do not and would not call if I did not need the direction of a nurse it is utterly ridiculous and I don't think Medicare would appreciate paying the big money they pay knowing that I have to deal with a receptionist with my issues big or small I understand she is your screen the calls for Unnecessary calls to the nurse because there are folks that do that but I am not one of them and every time I end up having to be put through to the nurse at the end of the day I'm sick of it I am sick of the Baptist Health System and we will be transferring out of it and I will be putting the word out there that everybody else should also follow those steps and get out while they can

    AT RISK

    BAPTIST HEALTH CENTERS , IS MY PRIMARY HEALTH CARE, BUT NOW THEY HAVE CHANGED, THEY CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS WELL BEING, AND NOW ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. I NEEDED BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE REFELLED , AND DIDNT HAVE MONEY FOR A DOCTORS VISIT, AND NOW THEY ARE REFUSEING TO CALL IT IN FOR ME, UNTIL I COME IN FOR A VISIT, IAM ON A VERY LOW INCOME BUDGET, AND DONT HAVE MONEY LEFT OVER, SOMETIMES HAVE TO GET ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICINE, AND UTILITY BILLS AND NOW MY HEALTH IS AT RISK. I HAVE CHRONIC HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. IDONT RECCOMEND THEM FOR ANYBODYS HEALTH CARE PROVIDER
