Freightliner in Pompano Beach,Fl is running a scam business. I took my truck there for simple oil leak repair and they never fix the issue and charged me $3200.00.
1st time they told me the truck was repair, I went and drove it home, after several hours, oil was leaking in the same spot. I took it back.
2nd time, after 6 days, they told me the truck was repaired, I went and drove the truck home, the following day, I noticed oil leak on the ground and when i checked, same oil leaking in the same spot. I took it back.
3rd time, the same issue and I took the truck back. all what they were doing was cleaning the leak so it look like they did repair.
After 5 days, they called me again and this time, it was a scam. They told me that truck had a engine light and it need new turbo. They told me that the repair cost is more than $10,000. The sales person was ready for me. He asked if I have the money to repair, if I can get loan from the bank and when I said I don't have it, he showed me a brochure for companies that can finance the repair cost. He asked me about the truck title.
I asked him how does simple oil leak has to do with turbo?
I drove the truck to the shop, how comes now it can't even fire up?
when I brought the truck in, it did not have engine light and Technician drove tested the truck some day, what happened?
This is a big scam they are running in that shop at Lou Bachroot Freightliner in Pompano Beach, FL they still holding my truck because as they claim, the truck can't start.
I am in touch with state Attorney office, Better business bureau, and I am waiting for my interview with News media investigator. If you read their review, many complain similar to what I am going through. they must be stopped!!!!!!.Anonymous
