Don't rent from Hertz. You'll be saving yourself time, and money.
My story in short form. They stole 600 dollars+ from me in charges that I shouldn't have been charged at all.
The manager at the location I rented from told me to call the 800 number for help AS she walked away to the back of the store. Reached out to their email support, and they couldn't be bothered to even try to understand the situation beyond the words "Overcharged" and the fact that I paid the bill. I paid the bill instead of standing around fighting it because I figured customer service would fix it when I reached out because the manager clearly couldn't bother to know how to do her job properly to start with. Even if I don't get the money they stole from me back I will get it back in enjoyment, and from people NOT renting from them. Every time I see a Hertz commercial I will find a new site to leave a review. Every time someone mentions needing a car rental I will tell them of my experience. Every time I get the chance I will make sure it is known just what kind of customer service people can expect form Hertz, and ensure they will not be using their service. The sad part is there are countless others who have had the same kind of experience as I did. At the very same location too. The location I rented from has a 1 star average review rate with 18 total reviews. 17 being negative on Yelp.Anonymous
