DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE THIEVES, and you will never have anything fixed, or addressed. They will deduct your account each month, for a "Warranty", but will never actually assist with any items that need attention. They refuse to answer emails, or phone calls. Once they have your bank info to get their monthly "warranty" fee....you will never hear from them again. They should be put out of business immediately!Anonymous

YES! PLEASE. We will happily join you. This company is completely sub-standard. They have robbed us for over a year, and are now refusing to answer our calls and emails regarding a small claim for a washing machine part. It has been 20 days, 42 phone calls, and 14 emails, and they are completely ignoring us! I am furious, and reporting them to every consumer report in the country!Anonymous

The WORST Home Warranty Company ever. If your realtor or home seller offers you a home warranty through First American Home Warranty when buying a house...RUN FOR YOUR LIFE......Say no, ask for an alternate company because you will be sorry at the customer service, the unqualified repair companies they send out to your house who don't know what they're doing, break what they're trying to fix. Then you'll suffer through hours of phone calls and emails with customer support people who promise you the moon and then go dark on you and you have to start all over with someone new.Anonymous

I have one month left on my contract with this company and I will be switching immediately!! The customer service here is the very reason robots are becoming the new customer service reps!! The people at firs American home warranty are the lowest form of reps they act like they have no clue they are at work! I have been trying to get a part ordered for 7 days now! First I was told it was ordered and I just had to wait 3 days for it to come in so after five days I called back and was told it wasn't ordered but that they would be ordered that day!! Naturally I was secptical so the next day which is today I call to find out what hat day it should be in and surprise surprise they just hang up the phone!! I hate this company and will make a point to tell everyone I know which a lot of my friends are buying homes not to use this company!!Anonymous

Same with me they just keep go around in circles with you and then when you have provided them with the exact invoices they request they that is not good enough we need more. Waiting on $2600 they owe me after they told me to get my own contractor. Pathetic company. All the above is true.Anonymous

Please cancel your service and put them out of business, Companies that provide poor customer support and refuse to do anything but stonewall the customer to keep from replacing an item is unbelievable. I have been with out my dishwasher for over 2 months. It takes a week for someone to come out and see what part you need, then another week or 2 to get the part in and then get on the schedule to come out just to find out that there are more issues because the initial person didn't do a thorough job of assessing the problem the first time. Now they can't find a part, they're going to replace, then "oh we found someone that may have a part" and it will be in a couple of weeks. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T CARE. I'm sure the CEO doesn't care otherwise this would not be happening. So please people cancel your service and make them care.Anonymous

This company and its representatives are unprofessional. There has been absolutely no following up unless it's us doing so. Today I have just had enough! I ask the rep I was speaking with for the corporate's info, and he had the audacity to tell me "he didn't know" So you work for an organization and you don't know who hired you? UNACCEPTABLE! Don't do it. This is the most difficult company to work with. I have contacted the corporate office and thought I had the issue resolved.
Today I get a call re: who authorized this.

I never signed a contract with First American, but just discovered they have been taking money out of my account every month. How is this possible? American Home Shield is my home warranty company, and they have been decent.
